Home Repair Program

The City of Georgetown Home Repair Program has been established to provide home repairs to homeowners who are residents of the City of Georgetown and have limited resources. Funding is supplied by the City for eligible projects and applicants.

Please follow the process below to request home repair assistance:

  1. Fill out an application (linked below) with the City of Georgetown. The City will then review the application make the determination as to whether you qualify for reimbursement of the cost of repairs to your home. Eligibility requirements include home ownership and low or no resources to conduct the work.
  2. If you meet the qualifications, and the funding is available, you will be notified that you have been approved to participate in the Home Repair Program, and you will need to solicit three (3) bids in writing for the work to be done and submit those bids to the City.
  3. You will then be notified by the City if your project has been approved or denied.
  4. You will then need to contract for the work with the low bidder.
  5. Itemized invoices shall be submitted to the City for payment.
