The City Council is committed to appointing highly qualified and dedicated people to its boards and commissions. If you think you may be interested in serving on a board or commission, please complete the Boards & Commissions application (below), then submit your application and a resume or cover letter to the address on the application. If the board or commission you wish to serve on has few or no openings, the City Council encourages you to still apply. The Council uses this pool of applicants to fill posts vacated during the year and to create ad hoc task forces or temporary committees needed throughout the year.

In addition to the permanent advisory boards and commissions listed, the Council also appoints temporary advisory committees from time to time to address specific, short-term issues.
