Our adoption fee is currently $70 for non-residents and $75 for residents*.
The adoption fee includes:

spaying/neutering
vaccinations (appropriate to species and age)
heartworm or feline leukemia test (appropriate to species and age)
de-worming medication
microchip (a tiny ID tag inserted under the skin, which allows your pet to be returned to you quickly)

There is a $5 Pet License fee added [...]

The City budget was approved by Council on September 11th which includes funding for existing services as well as new program spending to meet the Council’s priorities for 2009.
